What's Not Included

Accommodation

This trip includes 9 nights of accommodation. You'll spend 7 nights in twin-share hotel rooms and 2 nights in a community homestay. We've chosen some stunning locations but in some instances, the style of the accommodation may be different to what you're used to at home. Rooms are generally small and simple and there may be shared toilet and shower facilities. While bedding is included, we'd recommend bringing a sleep sheet/bag of your own.

There may be the option to book a single room at an extra cost if that's your preference. Speak to your travel advisor for more information.

Meals

2 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 2 dinners are included on this trip. The rest of the time you'll have flexibility to eat where and when you like. Food is generally very affordable and your trip leader will be able to recommend local restaurants. Included breakfasts are usually Asian style (e.g. noodles and congee) or bread and eggs. Vegetarians can be catered for (let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements) although in some areas options may be limited.

Welcome to Nepal! Take a taxi through the capital's riot of sights, sounds and smells to your accommodation. This evening, take a stroll through Patan Durbar Square and enjoy a local meal with the travel gang!

Start today with a real wow moment with an optional plane flight over the one and only Mount Everest. Next up it's a walking tour of the highlights of Patan Durbar Square, the sacred courtyard of Kumari Chowk (where we'll get a blessing if we're lucky), and Swayambhunath, the monkey temple.

Pull on your hiking boots - we're taking an 11km scenic trek to Panauti, through stunning countryside and untouched villages. You'll be spending the next two nights in a homestay in Panauti. Settle in, meet your host family and share an evening meal with them - it's a really immersive cultural experience!

Take a scenic bicycle tour today through three indigenous towns: Panauti, Sunthan and Khopasi. We'll stop at temples, orange farms and a silk farm where we'll learn how silk is made and sip Nepali masala tea. Enjoy another evening and a meal with your host family tonight.

Drive to Bandipur today. It's a stunning route so just sit back and take in the views. We'll take an orientation walk around the town on arrival before an evening with the travel gang. Make sure you've got your camera ready - with a historic centre and views of the Annapurnas, Bandipur is seriously beautiful.

Hike local trails with mind-blowing views of the Annapurnas today. We'll pass rural communities, stopping at the old fort of Purano Kot, a sacred temple, and the village of Ramkot, home to the Magar Tribe. Hop in our private vehicle for the transfer back to Bandipur.

Our next stop is pretty Pokhara where we'll take you on an orientation walk before leaving you to explore at your leisure. Hire one of the boats on Lake Phewa, hit the markets, or get your adrenaline pumping with our optional paragliding experience.

Enjoy a full day in Pokhara. Join the Sarangkot sunrise walk, pick up some souvenirs in the market, treat yourself to a massage, visit the World Peace Pagoda, or paraglide over the town (if you didn't do it yesterday). We'll spend tonight toasting our adventure in a lakeside bar.

We've got a heck of a road trip ahead of us today as we make our way through snow-capped mountains on our way back to Kathmandu. Spend the afternoon exploring the fascinating city and picking up last minute souvenirs before a final night with the gang.

Time to say goodbye to your travel family and head home. If you want one last slice of Himalayan adventure, you can still take that hour long flight over Everest! Otherwise, make your way to the airport and get busy planning your next trip!
