14 nights’ shared accommodation are included as part of this trekking adventure, 12 nights in teahouse lodges and the remainging 2 nights in hotels.
While on the trek route you will stay in teahouses. Teahouses are small, cosy yet remote establishments run by local Nepalese living in the mountains to cater for trekkers. They are a combination of guesthouse, restaurant and social space and offer all you’ll need after a hard day’s trekking.
No meals are included on this trip. The teahouses you will be staying at along the route offer simple, filling and delicious meals to keep your energy up for the trek. Breakfasts and dinners will usually be eaten in the Teahouse and typical Nepali food includes Dal Bhat (rice and lentils), vegetables, noodles, potatoes and soup and some serve a local take on pizza, pasta and French fries. Lunches will be eaten at one of the trail side restaurants.
Soft drinks, snacks and beer are available along the route and in the Teahouses and Nepali milk tea is served everywhere. All tea houses offer boiled water for trekkers to top up their own water bottles. We discourage the purchase of bottled water while on the trail as plastic bottles have become an environmental problem in Nepal.
