What's Not Included

6 nights of accommodation are included on this tour. 5 nights are in simple, twin-share hotel rooms. 1 night is spent at a multi-share camp in the Sahara Desert.

There are 6 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 2 dinners included in this trip. Taste Morocco’s world-famous cuisine. From tagine and couscous to Medfouna and mint tea, the mouthwatering food here is an experience that you won’t want to miss!

Arrive in magical Marrakech at any time and meet everyone for a welcome meeting with your trip leader. Then head out with your group to see the city come alive at night!

This morning we'll depart Marrakech and arrive at Skoura, an emerald oasis filled with palm trees. Set inside the enchanting Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs, we'll explore this golden city on a guided tour - discovering all the different fortresses, plus marvelling at the views of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains.

As we journey deeper into the desert, we'll explore the dramatic Dades Gorge's winding paths on foot. We'll also stop at Tinghir, where travellers can pick up lunch. Later today, we'll ride a camel across the sands at sunset through the Saharas - led by professional local guides. Enjoy an evening under the stars, with dinner, a campfire and traditional music included!

Start the day with a leisurely breakfast at camp before enjoying some free time to chill at the hotel, or as an optional extra, explore the Sahara dunes on an epic 4x4 excursion. Later today, we'll learn how to make the locally adored dish of Medfouna (a delicious stuffed flatbread) at our cooking class. Finish this incredible day by sandboarding from the desert's highest dunes at sunset!

After breakfast we'll travel along the legendary Route of 1000 Kasbahs. Our next stop is the dazzling Aït Ben Haddou, which you may recognise from Game of Thrones or Gladiator! We'll discover the spellbinding alleys and rose-coloured fortress walls on our walking tour before climbing to the highest point for the golden hour and sunset. As an optional extra this evening, you can join a tagine cooking class.

Today we'll journey back to the "Red City" where our trip began! Get ready to unlock all this ancient city's secrets on our guided tour through the medina, for a taste of everyday life. Explore the maze of tiny alleyways lit with Morocco's famous lanterns. Visit the famous Saadian Tombs, tour the grounds of the ornate Bahia Palace and experience the sensational Jemaa el-Fnaa square.

Our adventure ends here, with travellers able to depart at any time. However if you want to make a few more everlasting memories, why not pre-book an optional Hot Air Balloon excursion for the sunrise?

This optional activity will not finish until 10am, so please ensure your departing flight is no earlier than 1pm to ensure you have enough time to reach the airport.
