Our adventure starts today in Arusha, a city set against the scenic backdrop of Mount Meru and surrounded by some of East Africa's most iconic national parks. Arrive at any time before meeting your group and trip leader for the first time this evening.

Kick back and relax as we journey from Arusha to Serengeti today, taking in the breathtaking wild stretches. When we arrive into the park, it's time for our safari inside one of the greatest wildlife-watching destinations on the planet. From the Big 5 animals to great herds of zebras, gazelles and wildebeest, the opportunities are endless!

We're starting the day with a huge bucket list moment - watching the sunrise in the Serengeti National Park! Spotting all the animals waking up feels like something out of a movie, and so does the amber-gold skies. Later, we'll drive to the Ngorongoro Crater conservation area, also nicknamed "Africa's Garden of Eden" after its emerald wilderness. Enjoy a relaxed evening at camp, taking in views that feel almost too beautiful to be real.

As an optional extra, you can swap out the early morning safari drive for a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti, with a champagne breakfast included. Please contact a travel advisor for more details.

This morning, we'll venture into the heart of the Ngorongoro Crater for our best chance of spotting the wildlife who call this reserve home - including hippos, elephants, monkeys, and even the rare African black rhino. On the way back to Arusha, we'll take a cultural tour around the Mto wa Mbu village: a vibrant melting pot of all 120 of Tanzania's tribes. We'll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch here, as well as explore the local market and connect with the local people.

Our journey starts early this morning as we head towards Dar es Salaam, looking out for the epic Mount Kilimanjaro along the way. Over the next few days, we're swapping safaris for sandy stretches with Zanzibar as our next destination. Enjoy a chilled night inside this city nestled right by the Indian Ocean.

Alternatively, to cut travel time in half travellers can be booked onto an internal flight to Stone Town for an additional cost. Please Reach out to a travel advisor for more details.

Island paradise is right around the corner as we take a ferry to Stone Town this morning. Famed for its traditional, winding backstreets bursting with colourful spice markets, cute markets and sensational food spots, Stone Town is a feast for the senses. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore this world heritage city.

Enjoy a free morning to lose yourself in the magic of Stone Town, whether you feel like exploring the tiny cafes, shopping for special souvenirs at the variety of vendors, or discovering more of Zanzibar's mouthwatering cuisine. Later, we'll drive to Jambiani: a cluster of villages dotted along the tropical coast. Those powder-white beaches are calling your name!

Today is completely free for you to explore Jambiani's breathtaking beaches at your own pace. Whether you feel like unwinding on the sandy stretches, plunging into the bright turquoise ocean, or relaxing by the hotel pool, the choice is yours.

This morning we'll say goodbye to Jambiani and transfer back to Stone Town, where the trip finishes upon arrival. For any help with airport transfers or onward travel plans, your trip leader is happy to assist.
