Ah LA. City of sunshine, glamour and golden sands. Spot your favourite stars on the Walk of Fame, cruise Sunset Strip and Melrose Avenue, marvel at billionaire row in Beverley Hills, hit Santa Monica pier and do some people-watching on Venice Beach. After dark, hit the bars and clubs - LA parties hard!

Today's a no-brainer for theme park lovers - Universal Studios or Disneyland! Or stay in the city and grab some lunch from Grand Central Market, take a tour of the Arts District, ride Santa Monica Ferris Wheel or take an optional food tour downtown. After dark, hit some of the swanky roof-top bars.

Travel through the Mojave Desert to the whirlwind of neon lights, glitter and debauchery that is Vegas. Take an evening tour of the Strip, stop for pics at the Vegas sign, then see the dazzling light and laser show on Fremont Street, before partying all night long.

Free day today to shake off the night before, so why not take a gondola ride in the Venetian then visit Excalibur, play the blackjack tables, ride the High Roller, and hang with Elvis? Get ready for another big night with a party bus for you and your buddies - remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

Get your kicks on the legendary Route 66 today. Stop in historic Seligman for kitsch souvenirs, vintage motels and retro diners. Then get ready to have your mind blown. Destination: Grand Canyon!

Spectacular, majestic, spine-tingling. Words can't do the Grand Canyon justice; you have to see it to understand. Hike the southern rim, go jeep riding, or take an unforgettable helicopter ride. This evening watch the sun set over the rugged landscape - amazing.

You are now entering the Wild West! Visit a Native American reservation to learn about the Navajos, see the striped rocks of the Painted Desert and spend a night in the historic mining town of Durango, drinking in the Victorian saloons.

White-water rafting this morning anybody? That's a way to wake up! Then head for the blue skies and sun-baked buildings of Santa Fe. Check out the art galleries, shop for turquoise jewellery from local artisans, and visit Meow Wolf - a psychedelic art 'experience'.

Is this the way to Amarillo? See some vintage Americana today with a visit to the Cadillac ranch, and take a hot air balloon flight over the city. Tonight, it's you versus food at the Big Texan Steak Challenge - get your eating trousers on!

Sleep off the steak before heading to the cowboy town of Fort Worth. If you're still hungry there's a BBQ feast on offer, before a big Texan night out with the locals - yee-ha!

Saddle up cowboys (and girls)! Opt to visit the 6th floor museum to learn about the assassination of JFK, try some craft beers on the Ale Trail and pick up some Dallas souvenirs at Justin's Boots. This evening grab your Stetson- we're off to the world's largest honky-tonk!

It's time to say goodbye after an epic 12 days exploring the USA.

Today we'll visit Little Rock High School, before continuing on to music lovers' Mecca, Memphis. Kick off with a city tour, including Beale Street, the home of blues.

Today's all about the music - the beating heart of Memphis. Visit Sun Studios, where Elvis recorded his first song, see Graceland, or check out the Rock and Soul museum. Head out tonight for some pulled pork, drinks in a microbrewery and some more live music.

Non-stop jazz, Creole cuisine, voodoo, and a festival for every day of the week, New Orleans is a bewitching place. Take a tour of the French Quarter, with its iconic wrought-iron balconies. This evening, we're off to Bourbon Street, where the party never stops.

Today's yours. Take a steamboat cruise, visit Lafayette Cemetery, pick up some po-boys or take an airboat into the swamps (look out for 'gators!) This evening hit the New Orleans School of Cooking for a demo and dinner, or follow the sound of jazz to the bars.

White sands, turquoise waters and colourful reefs - PCB is the beach resort of dreams. Soak up the sun, take a dip, or play some beach volleyball with your buddies. Then wash the salt out of your hair and hit the bars.

Pack your bikinis away and prepare for some serious adrenaline rushes - we're off to theme park central!

OMG it's Universal Studios! Visit Diagon Alley, get wet and wild in the huge water park, meet a t-rex in Jurassic Park, take the ET Adventure Ride and see Shrek in 4D. It's a dizzying mega-mix of rides, film and entertainment that you'll never forget (entry payable locally).

It's our last stop today and it's a good one - welcome to Miami.  Tuck into some lip-smacking Cuban cuisine, take a tour of some of the pastel-coloured art deco hotels and get your kicks on a Thriller speedboat ride. When the sun goes down, the party starts.

Bayside Marketplace, Wynwood Halls and South Beach are waiting for you today. There's also a bike tour of South Beach, a party boat adventure, kayaking and a salsa lesson on offer. This evening get your face glitter on - it's your last night, so make it count!

All good things come to an end, so pack your bags, say your goodbyes, and start planning the next trip!
