Trip Overview
The Outback – Australia’s beating heart and one of the world’s last true wildernesses. This incredible 9-day group tour takes you through otherworldly landscapes, dotted with improbable rock formations, sweeping stretches of desert, and vast gorges cut into the red earth. You’ll learn all about Aboriginal culture, marvel at ancient rock art, plunge into crystal-clear swimming holes, spot crocs in their natural habitat on a sunset cruise, and hike deep into the Bush. Perhaps the most memorable moment of all though, is sunrise over the one-and-only Uluru. Life doesn’t get any better than this.

Arrival Information:
This trip starts in Uluru. Fly into Ayers Rock/Connellan Airport (AYQ). Ayers Rock Airport connects to most other major cities in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Darwin, Adelaide and Alice Springs). There are no included activities today until a welcome dinner, but we do have some great optional activities on offer, so we’d suggest you arrive early in the day, or maybe even a day or two ahead of your trip (additional nights of accommodation are at an extra cost). Airport transfers aren’t included so you’ll need to make your own way to our starting accommodation. Taxis are easy to organise and take around ten minutes.
The trip ends on day 9 in Darwin. There are no activities planned for today, so leave at a time that suits you. If you’re heading home, you’ll need to make your own way to Darwin International Airport (DRW). Taxi is the easiest way to travel and takes around 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
Please make sure you allow plenty of time for transfers, to mitigate for possible delays.
Age & Eligibility:
You'll need to be a minimum of 18 years old to join this trip. This trip is designed for 18 - 35-year-olds.
