As part of this trip, you will stay onboard an Antarctica expedition ship, fitted with spacious and stylish living quarters, and designed to make you feel at home. All rooms have ensuite facilities and face out to the ocean, with either a porthole or window.

The ship offers amazing facilities, from lounge and bar areas to a library, gym and jacuzzis - not to mention the sun and observation decks for immersing yourself in the breathtaking scenery.

With a maximum capacity of 128 passengers, this Antarctica cruise also offers a more personal travel experience. It’s your chance to discover Antarctica like never before, with travellers able to take part in smaller boat excursions daily (depending on weather).

Private cabin upgrades are available at an additional cost. Please contact a travel advisor for more details.

Meals

10 breakfasts, 8 lunches and 9 dinners are included. To make your once-in-a-lifetime expedition even more unforgettable, you’ll get to enjoy a variety of international cuisine prepared by professional chefs. Coffee, tea and water are all free of charge; you can also easily purchase complimentary drinks onboard at the lounge and pub.

Back in Ushuaia, you’ll have the freedom to explore the city’s incredible food scene, from fresh seafood to cosy pubs and casual dining spots.

All accommodation and meals are subject to change.

Your trip begins today in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world! Travellers are welcome to arrive at any time.

Enjoy a free morning in Ushuaia. Onboard, your trip leader will cover everything you need to know before we set sail for Antarctica! This evening we'll pass the Beagle Channel, where you can spot sea lions and the scenic lighthouse island.

The journey is the destination in Antarctica, especially on the Drake Passage: one of the most iconic ocean crossings on the planet, and favoured by nearly all voyages. Famed for its crashing waves and giant ocean stretches, no two expeditions look the same - making it a rite of passage for adventurous travellers looking to tick Antarctica off their ultimate bucket list!

Get ready to experience a whole new world filled with frozen glaciers, bright sapphire seas and rosy pink sunsets. The wildlife here is on another level, from humpback whales and orcas to rare penguin species, and you'll have the chance to really experience it with daily small boat excursions (depending on weather). Nothing can prepare you for how stunning Antarctica is!

Our journey continues north as we cross the Drake Passage once more. Enjoy cosy evenings onboard, attending fun talks and making the most out of the ship's amazing facilities (but we're sure you've got the hang of things by now!).

After breakfast, we'll leave the ship behind and you will be transferred either to the airport (if you have a morning flight) or to the luggage storage point if you would like to stay longer in Ushuaia.

It's not everyday that you get to visit Antarctica... So while you're on the other side of the world, why not add to your experience by exploring more of South America? From the salt flats of Bolivia to the mountain peaks of Patagonia, there is so much to see and do inside this adventurous continent. Arrival Information:

Your trip starts in Ushuaia (Argentina) on Day 1. No activities are planned, however we recommend arriving early or the day before if you are interested in exploring the city and surrounding areas.

As you will need to organise internal flights from Buenos Aires, we recommend checking the airline luggage capacity. This is typically a maximum of 15kg.

Your trip finishes in Ushuaia on Day 11 after breakfast, typically around 8am. If you have a morning flight booked, an airport transfer will be provided. For those with later flights booked, you will be taken to the storage point where you can pick up your remaining luggage and freely explore Ushuaia.

If you would like to arrange pre or post-trip accommodation, please contact a travel advisor and we can help you get started.

Age & Eligibility:

Physical Rating

This trip is accessible to most fitness levels and for those able to do extended walks and light hiking on various terrain. It’s important to note that for landings in Antarctica we use Zodiacs and wet beach landings in what sometimes can be extreme environments. This will require you to be able to safely navigate ice and snow on uneven ground, to lift your leg over the side of a Zodiac and push yourself up, walk on wet, rocky beaches and stand throughout the landing with no place to sit. Our expedition team is there to assist you if needed but having good mobility is important for your safety and enjoyment.

Group Dynamics

The minimum age to join this trip is 18. This fantastic trip is an open-aged experience that caters for a mix of younger and older travellers. This means that you may travel with people who are outside your own age group. Such a mix of ages creates a great group dynamic and enhances the travel experience, as you get to know a range of people with different stories to tell!

Medical Requirements

All passengers will be required to submit a medical questionnaire prior to travelling. Those with pre-existing medical conditions will be required to get their forms signed off by their doctor.
