Albania & Corfu Escape

Welcome to Albania! Your adventure starts in the capital city of Tirana. Activities begin this evening; meet your trip leader and group for the first time before heading into the city centre. See Skanderbeg Square and the striking clock tower at Et'hem Bey Mosque, before the group gets to know each other over an optional dinner. Afterwards, you can explore Tirana's vibrant nightlife together!

Dive into Albania's delicious cuisine and have fun learning how to cook local speciality dishes for today's lunch, accompanied by glasses of regional wine and raki - and who could forget about dessert? Enjoy a free afternoon in Tirana, from wandering around Tirana Castle to visiting the famous Bunk Art museums or exploring the city's coolest bars and pubs.

Hidden at the foothills of the Albanian Alps is the tiny village of Kruje, and today we'll spend some time uncovering the vibrant bazaar markets, traditional alleyways and epic castle. Then continue your journey to Berat, nicknamed the "Town of a Thousand Windows" after its stacked style of windowed houses woven through the hills. Find its secret treasures on a walking tour, followed by a free evening in town to explore the wine bars and restaurants dotted along the scenic river.

Our next destination is a scenic beachside town called Himarё. A hidden gem on the Albanian Riviera, Himarё is home to secluded beaches and secret coves along the bright turquoise ocean. Before we arrive at Himarё, we'll stop at one of Albania's extraordinary natural wonders: the wild Vjosa River. In Himarё, we'll explore the famous old town and castle ahead of a free evening of dinner, drinks and sunsets on the beach!

This morning, we'll venture outside of Himarё and hike through emerald peaks, before meeting local shepherds for an unforgettable cultural experience. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy a delicious lunch, experiencing some of that famous Albanian hospitality. Then enjoy a free afternoon and evening back in Himarё, exploring all the dreamy beaches and grabbing cocktails with friends.

This morning we'll journey further south along the Albanian Riviera to Sarandё and catch the ferry to Corfu. This Greek island is famed for its sunkissed coves, rugged coastline and sandy stretches. Enjoy an optional farewell dinner and go for drinks at a seaside bar, before getting ready to celebrate all night!

Our adventure finishes here, with travellers able to depart at any time.
